Midwest Performance Cars is unique among automotive shops. Our facility is housed in a warehouse building in the near west loop. We have indoor parking for over 40 cars – so our customers’ cars stay safe and secure inside while they are in our care.

Our workspace includes 6 lifts and 6 flats so we can be (and usually are) actively working on 12 cars at a time. We have a separate tire room where we store off-season wheels and tires for our clients as well as where we have our mounting and balancing machines. We are equipped with all the specialty tools required and have the very latest and best in electronic scan tools. Each mechanics station is equipped with a computer and our work orders and work flow is all handled electronically which ensures accuracy and eliminates mistakes. Each techninican also has access to computerized parts and wiring diagrams as well  as the very latest and best reference materials.

We are usually able to provide rides for our clients to and from the loop. If we cannot, access to the shop is very easy with a El-station one block west with trains to the city. Cabs are also abundant in the area as are ramps to all the major expressways.

While highly unusual for an automotive shop, Midwest Performance Cars is very concerned about the environment and goes to great lengths to recycle everything we possibly can. We felt that the amount of waste generated by a busy repair shop was simply unacceptable – between old parts and the packaging that the new parts and fluids come in – so we started an aggressive recycling program. Oil, coolant, filters, steel, aluminum, paper, glass and plastic are all recycled here.
