Midwest Performance Cars is unique among automotive shops. Our facility is housed in a warehouse building in the near-west Loop. We have indoor parking for over 40 cars – so our customers’ cars stay safe and secure inside while they are in our care.
Our work space includes 6 lifts and 6 flats so we can be actively working on 12 cars. We are well-equipped with specialty tools, mounting and balancing equipment, and the latest-technology in electronic scan tools. Our computer-equipped mechanics’ stations, along with electronically-processed work orders and work flow, ensure accuracy and eliminate mistakes. Each technician has access to computerized parts, wiring diagrams, and up-to-date reference materials.
We store off-season wheels and tires for our clients, onsite, in a separate tire room.
In most cases, we can provide shuttle service to and from the Loop. The shop is easily accessible by public transportation, with CTA bus lines and an El-station one block to the west. Cabs are abundant in the area, and on/off ramps to and from major expressways are in the vicinity.
While highly unusual for an automotive shop, Midwest Performance Cars is concerned about the environment and goes to great lengths to recycle everything we possibly can. We considered the amount of waste generated by a busy repair shop to be simply unacceptable and started an aggressive recycling program. Oil, coolant, filters, steel, aluminum, paper, glass and plastic are all recycled here.
